If you’re a fan of candles like we are here at Fairy Fire Creations, you’re probably interested in learning as much as you can about them. Here are a few amazing candles bloggers you need to follow if you want to boost your candle knowledge and stay updated on what’s going on in the candle world. 

1. Candlefind. 

If you want to know what the most popular candles on the market actually smell like, you need to check out Candlefind. Owner Andrea is obsessed with candles, and she and her team have been “putting their nose in other people’s business since 2003.” 

You’ll find everything you need to know about candles on this candle blog. Andrea provides detailed reviews of popular candles and wax melts. Her reviews cover everything from scent notes and packaging to general pros and cons. 

There’s also a section of Candlefind that’s filled with tips for getting the most out of your candles, no matter where you buy them from. (We’re hoping you buy from Fairy Fire Creations, though!) Andrea even includes tips for creating your own candles if that’s something you want to try out. 

One of the coolest parts of Candlefind is the candle company directory. It features listings of over 700 candle businesses, from the largest corporations to the smallest businesses. This is a great place to find new candle businesses to shop with.

2. National Candle Association. 

The National Candle Association is bascially the authority on all things candle-related, so of course we had to include their candle blog in this list. This blog focuses on covering candle trends for every year, season, and holiday. They also blog about candle tips and sustainability in the candle space, which we’re huge advocates of here at Fairy Fire Creations. 

The National Candle Association also has some pretty great articles about candle safety and how candles really work. If you want to know everything there is to know about the ins and out of the candle industry and the history of candles, this is a great resource for you.

3. How This Smells. 

If you want to know what the trendiest candles really smell and burn like, you need to check out How This Smells. This candle blog covers brands from the big guys like Bath & Body Works to smaller candle companies like Frostbeard Studio. Each review covers the scent notes and overall quality of the candles, and there’s also a great database of reviews by brand. 

We love that How This Smells does round-up posts of the best candles for each scent preference, too. This is a great blog to follow if you’re looking for candles with certain scent notes.
